Deforestation means cutting and burning down forests. There are many causes of deforestation. People are increasing like mice in a barn. Their need and necessities are also increasing similarly. As trees and plants are of great use to them, they cut them down. By burning down forests, they also make living places.
But they are not aware of the harmful effects of deforestation. Due to deforestation, carbon dioxide is increasing and so the weather pattern is being changed. The world is becoming warmer. The heat of the sun is trapped inside the atmosphere. As a result, the polar ice caps will melt and flooded huge areas of the glove.

বৃক্ষরোপণ কর্মসূচি চালু করতে হবে। যদি কেউ একটি গাছ কেটে ফেলে, তার উচিত সর্বনিম্ন পাঁচ থেকে দশটি গাছ লাগানো। এছাড়া পরিবেশগত ভারসাম্য বজায় রাখতে বেশি বেশি গাছ লাগানোর জন্য জনসচেতনতা বৃদ্ধি করতে হবে।
